Edition of 2000 one-sided LPs pressed on clear vinyl. Included is a 2-sided 12"-sized info-sheet.

Part one of the "Inmost Light" trilogy, parts two and three of which were, respectively, Current 93 - All The Pretty Little Horses (The Inmost Light) and Current 93 - The Starres Are Marching Sadly Home (Theinmostlight Thirdandfinal). The whole trilogy was compiled and reissued in 2007 as Current 93 - The Inmost Light.

The loop used throughout the record is sampled from "Domine Salvum Fac Pontificem Nostrum Leonem" to be found on Alessandro Moreschi's compendium The Last Castrato (Complete Vatican Recordings). After a gap of silence at the end, about 15 seconds of the track "The Frolic" from All The Pretty Little Horses was added in addendum.
