Record One: "Poetry for the Beat Generation" originally released on LP (Hanover LP# 5000, June 1959).
Record Two: "Blues and Haikus" originally released on LP (Hanover LP# 5006, October 1959).
Record Three: "Readings by Jack Kerouac on the Beat Generation" originally released on LP (Verve LP# 15005,
January 1960).
Record Four: "The Last Word" contains previously unreleased material: outtakes from the Blues and haikus sessions , Readings from "On The Road" And "Visions Of Cody" from the Steve Allen Plymouth Show, as well as "Is there a Beat Generation?" a recording taken from a symposium sponsored by Brandeis University which was held at the Hunter College Playhouse.
