About this box:
This is a special package (edition of 20 copies only) for "Real Time Music" by Kapotte Muziek. In this box you will find pieces from the first tapedeck of Kapotte Muzek. Most of our material until now was recorded with this tapedeck. We thought it would be good to present pieces of this tapedeck to you as a tribute to our tapedeck. A homage to mechanical & magnetic music.

Real Time Music is a concept in which every single sound is produced in the time it will take you to hear it. This is not 'live' music, because 'live' music can make use of pre-recorded tapes. No pre-recorded tapes of some kind are used. In the so-called industrial music it is so common to use pre-recorded tapes that as a reaction to this we wanted to record a tape which was very, strictly made, very live. That this was a great limitation we discovered during the recording. One wrong turn and it could blow the whole piece.
Don't expect 'perfect' music but a concept of recording. – Kapotte Muziek

This tape was later re-released on 7" by Midas Music. Except for track A2.
