- February-October 1960. Recorded on October 16, 1960.
- A few excerpts of the 1st and 4th movements were performed on November 22, 1960 at the Quatre Saisons Gallery, during the Festival of Avant-Garde.
- On August 6, 1962 a reading of a number of fragments of the text was performed at 19 Quai Bourdon, Paris by Bernard Heidsieck, with a saxophone improvisation by Larry Rivers. Those present at the reading were John Ashbery, Renée Beslon, Jean Degottex, Jean et Lola Dupuy, Antoine Esquilat, Gérald Gassiot-Talabot, Françoise Janicot, Eric Olivier, Mrs. Larry Rivers, Niki de Saint Phalle, Jean Tinguely and Yektai. The Reading was tape recorded.
- The Heidsieck/Rivers recording was played on April 26, 1968 at Stockholm's Museum of Modern Art during Fylkingen's first Text-Sound Festival.
