Notes
This material was recorded in August of 1981 at John Altmann Recording in San Francisco. At the time this was recorded, Playette was more of an Attitude than a group. Now it is even less of both. I began law school soon after the tape was completed. This tape was made shortly after I had to leave MX-80 Sound but I was fortunate to include all of the members in one way or another.
As you can see Playette does covers. They include 'Suspicious Minds' made famous by Elvis, 'Windy' recorded by The Association, Ken Highland's 'That's Cool' preserved originally by The Gizmos, and Roger Miller's 'King Of The Road'.

Playette has its roots in Bloomington music and musicians, particularly The Screaming Gypsy Bandits, Chinaboise and MX-80 Sound.
