The improvisations on this cassette are orchestrated abstractions of selected paintings from the permanent collection of the Municipal Museum in The Hague, Holland.
The following instruments were used: violoncelli by Carlo Tononi (1710) and August Bernadel (1861), a six stringed cello adapted by F. M. Uitti, a viola da gamba, a phono-fiddle as well as a vocoder, tape loops and other filters.
