Notes

Recorded at Orange County Studios in 1981. These 6 songs were the first recordings Christian Death recorded in a studio before the band signed to Frontier Records for Only Theatre Of Pain. They were asked to provide some songs for the Hell Comes To Your House punk compilation album (Bemisbrain Records, 1981), however only "Dogs" ended up being used.

The cover is a reproduction of the painting "Who shall deliver me" by Fernand Khnopff. Reverse has text in French by Jean Lorrain and a picture depicting a child sat upon the coffin of a dead woman (Alfred Kubin "la fiancée de la mort"). Contains 12 page booklet in thin textured paper (in French and English) with tracklist, 4 poems (by Iwan Gilkin, Emile Verhaeren, Remy de Gourmont and Baudelaire), the text by Jean Lorrain (in English) and pencil drawings (notably by Max Klinger). Cover booklet is a black and white reproduction of "Portrait of Stuart Merril" by Jean Delville.

Typo : "Desperate Hell" has been written as "Desesperate Hell".
